Company Updates

  • Volunteering is very important to The Body Shop, as it is part of the core values we were founded on by Dame Anita Roddick in 1976. Employees from The Body Shop global office in Littlehampton, UK, volunteered to paint a local community centre: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQu9G #TBSVolunteering

    Keystone Centre transformation begins

Volunteers have been working to transform The Keystone Centre in Wick. The centre's management committee is working to improve the facilities and a refurbishment project called Creating Brighter Futures has been launched with the help of Arun Community Church.

  • Because we exist to make a positive difference, by purchasing from our seasonal gift collections you’ll be helping refugee children have an opportunity the heal through play. Find out more here: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQuvX #PlayForPeace #Christmas

The Body Shop – Why Work With Us?

Never afraid to stand out from the crowd and stand up for what’s right, we search the world for the finest ethically-sourced ingredients to create a range of naturally-inspired beauty products.

Today our dedication to business as a force for good is stronger than ever. As part of our Enrich Not Exploit™ Commitment, we’ve made it our mission to enrich our products, our people and our planet. That means working fairly with our farmers and suppliers and helping communities thrive through our Community Trade programme, being 100% vegetarian and always and forever being firmly against animal testing. Together we can do it, it’s in our hands.

The Body Shop has always run on passion, so it’s no surprise our work culture is unique. It’s a smart, multi-cultural, fast-paced and genuinely caring environment where fun, dedication and entrepreneurship are part of our daily lives.

A place where our people can truly thrive and are able to fulfil their real potential.

Our people put customers at the heart of the business and think outside the box to deliver innovation strategies. We look for commercially minded people with entrepreneurial and activist spirit, who combine expertise with enthusiasm.

Our Forever Against Animal Testing global campaign is how we put our passion for animal rights into action – we're working towards a worldwide ban on animal tested cosmetics… forever. Approximately 80% of countries have no laws around animal testing, which is why we haven’t stopped fighting for the rights of animals since 1989. Working with our customers and Cruelty Free International, our Forever Against Animal Testing campaign is helping wipe out animal testing in cosmetics for good, so animals no longer have to suffer for our beauty.

We constantly strive to create a productive environment, representative of and responsive to different cultures and groups, where everyone has an equal chance to succeed.

We're proud to say that in the United Kingdom we pay the equivalent of Real Living Wage to each of our store team members!
