Former Employee - Software Engineer  in  Reston, VA (US)
Former Employee - Software Engineer in Reston, VA (US)

I worked at comScore full-time for more than a year

Pros

The company has a very convenient location in Reston center (DC metro area), close to metro and bus station and public garages. The company treats you with free coffer, sodas, and potato chips

Cons

Very low professional ethic, most of managers are not technically literate. There are lots political games and wasteful meetings. If you are an engineer your promising is impossible unless you have close relationship with high management.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to change the business model to more human valuable sector.

Current Employee - Anonymous Employee in Seattle, WA (US)

I have been working at comScore full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good people, and the satisfaction of contributing to an industry leader.

    Cons

Low pay - they try to hire lots of kids straight out of college. Hard to climb the ladder. Upper management is near universally uninspiring. Don't cover any transportation costs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get someone other than Magid to speak to the employees. He's brilliant, but incredibly boring as a speaker. He does not inspire.

Fun, easy going company though lacking direction in growth at times.
