Thoughts on Deloitte analytics and cognitive?
Senior consultant at Capgemini frog or consultant at Accenture song Chicago office. Previous comments told me to go for Accenture … however I am early career neurodivergent queer woman and im not sure which would be a better cultural fit if i did want to stay for a couple of years. money wise I am looking at similar pay range.
Just saw a post from Fortune Magazkne that Gen Z is getting fired because they don’t have good communication skills (how to run a meeting, how to write a formal email etc.), don’t show initiative (ask questions, volunteer for projects) and don’t maintain professionalism (show up on time, miss deadlines etc.). Sounds like the boomers are getting grumpy, but as a millennial, this doesn’t surprise me. Curious if anyone thinks work culture will eventually adjust or if you’re seeing this.
List of the worst of the worst people, those unfit for society: - Those who recline their seats on airplanes - Those who don’t return their grocery carts - Those who listen to audio on speaker on public transport Am I missing anyone?
I was just terminated from the deals group. I’ve let myself go in terms of my health and weight. I figured I’d use a good chunk of the severance time to get in shape over the summer and focus on my health but my friends and family are pushing me to find a way to juggle both and call me crazy for taking my time. My plan is to build a morning routine of fitness and work that into my new schedule when I’m rehired. Any thoughts ?

But there is indeed complex data engineering needs with in many projects using spark, python, cloud components etc etc
Based on articles on their website, Deloitte is THE BEST consulting firm for marketing AI/ cognitive stuff. No other firm can match the hype.
There’s a lot of potential
For exit ops, do these realities of the broader practice matter if you can get onto a project with real machine learning work?
Find one and let us know. Tired of “hearing” about those dream projects.
We’ve got lots of actual AI projects. I really like the practice and the leadership has good vision
