I changed roles a while back, and I've been doing the new job for over 90 days, but payroll keeps saying my salary adjustment is "in progress." How long does it usually take for your pay bumps to catch up to your promotions at your companies?

How do people feel about remote work? I am about to take about 5% pay cut to take a 90% remote job vs an in-office 80% job. The flexibility and saving 2 hours a day is worth it.

I'm tired, depressed and exhausted from the continuous search for Junior job position. Parents are getting old and I feel like I'm dragging them down instead of supporting them. For the past year I have been looking for a job but met with either rejection or ghosting. I get freelancing jobs once in a while but they are not enough to pay the bills.
