The questions were pretty straight forward.  Just lean on your experience in the work environment to answer them.

Sounds like they didn't know what to ask and fell back on a standard question.  Sounds like "they" didn't prepare well enough for the interview and asked an outdated question.  When you go on an interview, you should remember that the candidate is also interviewing you to see if they want to work there.  If you come across as unprepared, that is a red flag in their eyes.
