Make sure to ask questions to the interviewer after s/he has done asking you. Ask about the interviewer's career, ask about the company; ask things that relate to why you are at the interview and at the same time, can form an interesting conversation (by this I mean, don't ask them what you did for Christmas, even though it can lead to an interesting conversation, but has nothing to do with your application for the position).
