1. Dual stack: Have two stacks, one for IPv4 and another IPv6 . If DNS sends "A" use IPv4, if "AAAA" use IPv6 stack. 2. Tunneling: Take whole packet and put it in another packet 3. Header translation: Take IPv4 payload and put it in payload of IPv6's header.
