What is your experience in adjudication?
Anonymous
“While my role hasn’t been titled adjudication, a significant part of my work has involved making structured, evidence-based decisions. In my current role as an Intensive Family Support Worker, I regularly gather information from multiple sources—caregivers, children, schools, and clinical teams—and assess risk, needs, and appropriate levels of intervention. I apply organizational guidelines and best practice frameworks to determine service recommendations, and I document my rationale clearly to support transparency and accountability. In my work with supervised access visits, I also assess safety, observe interactions, and make recommendations that can influence court decisions, which requires neutrality, critical thinking, and strong attention to detail. Overall, I’m very comfortable analyzing complex information, weighing different perspectives, and making fair, consistent decisions that align with policy and client needs.
