As a teacher I taught advanced placement and college prep. History courses for junior and seniors in high school. I had over 130 students to over see daily. There are state and federal guidelines to adhere to, along with individual analysis of progress being made. In order to best serve each individual there was a need to understanding diverse cultures. The implementation of strategies used were as diverse as the individual in promoting success. Compassion and patience were key.
