Research first before answering this question. Don't flat out say that, "I want US$10 per hour," especially if the position you're applying doesn't have that kind of range. Go to Jobstreet.com and look for their salary range. enter your background info and the position and it will give you the correct salary range. Tell the interviewer that you researched it (give them the site where you got the info) and they'll tell you their range. If they asked, "Are you okay with that kind of range?" I advice you not to say no. You're still looking for a job and you'll never know if that is the real salary. They might just say that to know your reaction.
