Pros

One Year In — And I Couldn't Be HappierI've just hit my one-year mark at Taylor Rose, and I can honestly say it has been an amazing experience from the start. From day one, I was given a genuine level of independence to develop as a solicitor — to find my own style, build my own approach, and grow with confidence. At the same time, I've never felt alone. My line managers have been incredibly helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable, always available when I need guidance, and the wider team has been so welcoming that integrating into the firm felt completely natural. One of the things I value most is the variety of work I'm exposed to. Every day brings something different, which keeps things interesting and has really accelerated my development. The work-life balance here is genuinely excellent. The flexibility offered by the firm makes a real difference — it shows that Taylor Rose trusts its people, and that means a lot. And on top of all of that, the colleagues are just lovely. It's a supportive, positive environment that I feel proud to be part of. If you're considering joining Taylor Rose, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it. It's a firm that invests in you as a professional and as a person.

Pros

Working at Taylor Rose has been an incredibly positive experience. The quality of the people is great, with talented and supportive colleagues who genuinely want to see each other succeed. There is a strong focus on professional development, with opportunities to learn, grow, and take on new challenges. The firm invests in its technology, and client service, creating an environment where you can perform at your best. Leadership is approachable, transparent, and committed to continuous improvement. The culture strikes a good balance between high performance and collaboration, making it a rewarding place to build a long-term career.

Cons

As with any successful and growing law firm, the pace can be fast and expectations are high. Workloads can be demanding during particularly busy periods, requiring strong organisation and time-management skills. The drive for continuous improvement and maintaining high service standards means change is frequent, which can sometimes take time to adapt to.
