Working at Beyond for nearly seven years has been an absolutely incredible experience. Throughout my journey, the company has shown a genuine commitment to supporting my career progression. Starting as a Junior, I had the opportunity to grow and advance to Mid-level, Senior, and eventually a Lead position. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had three exceptional line managers during my time at Beyond. Each one created a safe and nurturing environment, boosting my confidence and genuinely caring about my well-being. They consistently championed my career development, and for that, I am truly grateful. Remarkably, promotions and appropriate compensation adjustments were often lead by my managers and there was rarely the need for me to initiate discussions. The projects I have been involved in have been consistently fascinating and fulfilling. It is evident that Beyond hires exceptionally talented individuals who contribute to the overall success of the company. I thoroughly enjoyed working with multi disciplinary teams and learnt a great deal in the process. Moreover, the company culture at Beyond sets a new standard. The people are not only friendly and supportive, but also inclusive of everyone. Beyond truly believes in allowing employees to bring their authentic selves to work, fostering an environment where diversity is celebrated. In addition to my role as a UX Designer, I had the opportunity to engage in various extracurricular activities. This included training as a Mental Health First Aider and actively participating in the Diversity and Inclusion Council. Beyond's commitment to empowering employees extends beyond their immediate job responsibilities. One aspect that stands out about Beyond is their belief in flexible working. I had the freedom to take longer lunch breaks for exercise and personal activities, as long as I met my deadlines. This level of trust in managing my own schedule greatly enhanced my work-life balance. Overall, Beyond has exceeded all my expectations as an employer.
