Happy Organization - Consultant Bay Area Medical Academy Employee Review

BAMA is on a mission to help others with training geared towards getting people into stable jobs in healthcare. Everyone who works here seems to care about that mission. The various departments meet regularly, communication is good, and co-workers are supportive of one another. Staff members and instructors really care about the students.

I haven't experienced any significant cons to working here.

There are some fantastic people working at BAMA. The proximity of campus to delightful food is amazing. The toughest work environments often lead to lifelong friendships.

Negligent organizational leadership, inappropriate conduct by organization's founder, and mismanagement of funds leading to (validly) upset students, staff, and vendors. The organization will reward hard work with additional responsibility, higher expectations, and verbal beratement when work is viewed as threatening to founder's view. No consistent evaluation metrics or review processes are in place, and safety of staff is not prioritized.
