Pros
You get to see a lot of different things available to buy, the managers are friendly. Sometimes theres even snacks in the breakroom. 1 hr unpaid lunch and a 15 minute paid break. To be fair, this is also my first job.
Cons
Theres not really any employee benefits and the customers can be insufferable bc part of the job is evaluating the items people bring in to sell. It feels like every week they add new rules for what we cant buy and it just causes more problems. I get its to increase productivity or whatever, but still. Feels kinda scummy sometimes. They also fired a guy without warning (im not completely sure why, i couldnt hear what they were saying but it didnt seem justified to me, he seemed fine to me) so, i dunno. You will also be rushed a lot. Not aggressively, but it is kind of annoying, especially when the managers show you what to do to go faster and then make a ton of mistakes that they dont notice because they were going too fast.
