Cons
I joined this company during a period of significant workforce turnover, which in hindsight should have been a red flag. Unfortunately, I chose to proceed with my employment, and my experience proved to be highly challenging.
Throughout my tenure, I encountered consistent issues with payroll management. Despite numerous attempts to address these issues, the individual responsible for payroll was unable or unwilling to resolve them effectively. Additionally, the reception manager exhibited behavior that was unprofessional and counterproductive. This individual fostered a negative work environment through frequent disparagement of team members, inadequate support and training, and a tendency to blame others for failures rather than offering constructive solutions.
Moreover, the company’s practices often prioritized financial gain over employee well-being. For instance, the decision to accept refugees, while financially beneficial for the owners, led to complications due to the lack of adherence to established rules and the presence of challenging behavior from some individuals.
Support from management was notably lacking, despite the presence of a significant number of senior staff members. Requests for assistance were frequently met with indifference or attempts to shift responsibility elsewhere.
Overall, my experience at this company was highly taxing and detrimental to my well-being. It was a demanding environment that tested even the most resilient individuals and ultimately proved to be a very unsatisfactory place to work.
