Pros

They are good at manipulating people with good intentions. You get early practice at being a con artist. If your a girl with big boobs you will get paid to exist. Makes liberals look like annoying idiots.

Cons

1 Convinces people to donate money not to political causes, but to "Grassroots campaign" to continue paying corporate management, and employees. 2 A homeless person begging for money has more honesty then these crook canvassers. I quit my first day, because I could not handle being a con man. I find it disgusting that while canvassing I, and many others got more money then actual homeless people begging for money who clearly needed it more. 3 When someone says they will look up the organization that a canvasser is advocating for. We are encouraged by management to instead persuade those people to give us the Grassroots campaigns money. 4 Decent people will usually leave after 1-3 days. Sociopaths who literally live off lies can make an income on this and eventually advance to become "Program directors." 5 I am not putting that I was a scam artist for a day on a resume.
