Bullying, misogyny, assaults, we have it all at HMRC - Fraud Investigator HM Revenue and Customs Employee Review

Pros

Hybrid Working, flexitime, pay isn’t too bad

Cons

An absolute toxic workplace - assaults on female members of staff outside of work swept under the carpet, bullying and misogyny from Senior Officers. Threats of violence against Officers and disclosure of personal information in a public forum are dealt with… giving the offenders a promotion. No valid promotion system - can score highly on one sift, but when it comes to the department doing the sifting, magically scores are amended based on who they want to maintain the 'old boys' or pre-Regional Centre office cliques. A horrible, toxic workplace unlike any I've encountered in near 30 years
