Pros
Restaurant has nice food, which is subsidised.
Pay is okay, not amazing but okay.
Cons
Staff are not treated with much respect at all, You are completely replaceable and they will do that without hesitation.
They will work you to the bone and you are now often doing the job of two people (be very careful of your back).
Haven’t got time to eat the food they cook , as your breaks are set to the bare minimum legally required.
Riverford have no responsibility of you getting up to the hard to reach location, when other large employers typically offer buses.
The grade out of now full of rotten food that most often isn’t even from the farm itself.
Often have some strange characters on the shifts. One Polish lady constantly shouting most of the way through her shift, bless her.
