The compensation and advancement opportunities at this company leave much to be desired, marking the least substantial salary increase I've encountered in the Fintech sector since my career began. It appears that the financial well-being of the senior management is prioritized over that of the company. Leadership, historically uniform in its composition (middle-aged men), is showing early signs of diversity with the recent inclusion of a couple of female executives. However, this shift seems to have little effect on the decision-making processes, which remain predominantly influenced by the existing male leadership, perpetuating a certain culture throughout the organization. The push for an RTO is noticeable, possibly in an effort to justify the investment in underutilized office spaces, like those in Bromley. Despite provisions for company-sponsored lunches, the choices of venues are disappointing. Moreover, the office environment and organized events fail to inspire engagement or excitement. The company culture is notably poor, with a hierarchical view that places certain bigwigs/teams at the top, to the detriment of collaborative spirit and interdepartmental communication. This siloed approach has led to a lack of cooperation among different teams, further eroding the organizational culture. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being punished for not working beyond your capabilities and enjoy being underpaid severely.

Initially had the excitement of a growing company.

Cons

Product sales declined in the US and staff declined as a result. Always worried about being the next on the list to leave.
