Pros

The people in the sales department are all amazing and talented Recent management changes in 2020-2021 improved transparency and communication within the department Opportunity for autonomy if performing well

Cons

The product has never been able to keep up with competition...always a second mover for releases and new features Working in the fitness industry means dealing with selling to gym owners, who are not usually business minded or technical people...which makes the sale much harder

Hi and thanks for your feedback! Great to hear your positive experience with our commercial department and feel that we are getting better there. As for our Product efforts: I can very well understand this experience, that as a Sales rep you always want things to be ready when a competitor launches something new. However, development is complex and costly and we have dozens of competitors, who each launch new things, which sometimes work, sometimes not. It is sadly impossible to do everything every competitor does, so our Product strategy is actually to look what is working for competitors (and what not) and focus on the successes. This is a second mover advantage, which has helped us grow to one of the top players in our field with 8,000+ customers worldwide!

Pros

Honestly, the culture here is amazing. The people are great, super friendly, and easy to get along with; you can really make lifelong friends. Management is understanding and actually listens, which makes a big difference. You can speak your mind without feeling uncomfortable. Work-life balance is solid; there’s no overwork culture, and they genuinely care about your personal time and well-being. There are opportunities to learn and grow, and if you’re motivated, you can move up pretty fast, even without a ton of experience. The pay is good for Medellín standards. Overall, it’s a fun environment, and the team dynamic has always been strong, both before and after the pandemic. This company can really help kickstart your career.

Cons

The biggest issue is the product. There are a lot of long-standing problems that haven’t been fixed, which means you’re often dealing with frustrated clients complaining about the same things over and over again. That part can get pretty exhausting. Things also move slowly when it comes to improvements, so you need a lot of patience. Product decisions tend to come more from senior leadership than from actual customer needs, which can be frustrating. There’s also some inconsistency in pay between foreigners and locals in Colombia, and at times it can feel like there’s a bit of favoritism.
