Pros

- a laid-back atmosphere where you really feel like a part of the team, not just a cog in a machine - working with truly amazing people that are all passionate about games & what they're doing - lots of opportunities to grow – plenty of times I've seen people going from one team to another if they showed interests in different areas of the company; - management also supports any requests for potential trainings outside of the company - flexible working hours - no forced overtime (it's sometimes highly requested though, but always paid) - social Fridays and other annual parties - profit sharing program - benefits such as free games, gym, multisport, healthcare

Cons

- occasional communication issues between teams but nothing major - some teams seem to be understaffed - it gets a bit chaotic during big promos season

Fantastic place to work

Pros

Everything and I mean that. Previously I was working in Western Europ and I was a little bit hesitant whether I should go back to Poland (our labour market does not have the best opinion). Fortunately, GOG is a really nice place to work. I am working as a backend developer and I do really appreciate Dev Ops here. People in the company are great - helpful and friendly. GOG offers a lot of opportunities to grow. My team is very open to at least try new solutions. It has nice work-life balance - company does not require to stay longer then 8 hours per day but if this happens, you are welcome to take it back the next day. Salary is better than average and benefits are really nice (free GOG games, private medical care, dental care, profit sharing).

Cons

Well, not much and they are not too important but to name some of them - loose requirements - when someone is requesting new functionality it takes some time to discuss what requester really wants to have. And sometimes people ignore Jira (which is developers most important planing tool).
