Pros

Honestly where should I begin? 1.) Management is GREAT! They are intentional about NOT micromanaging. Just do your job and no one will look over your shoulder! 2.) Upper management seems very competent. HC3 utilizes the EOS technique and they do it very well. Leadership is very good about receiving employee feedback and at least attempting to do something about it (which is more than I can say for my previous employers.) 3.) The AM managers are not overseers. They work the exact same job we work, so they understand exactly what AMs deal with daily. They know how to best advocate for us, and they do that with genuine intentions. 4.) Everyone on the AM team works hard and pulls their weight. There is no drama amongst employees. 5.) Tommy, the CEO, knows every detail about his company. He can answer questions from an AM as well as anything that has to do with the production floor. He knows it all and is willing to help anyone. 6.) Both Tommy and Griffin are down to earth and make a point to talk to you in the office. They are genuinely nice guys, not arrogant and too busy like most executives. 7.) The job itself is very easy. About 90% of your job is waiting on print jobs to become ready for production. Once ready, you click a button and send it to production. There is an element of issue resolutions to the job because many things can go wrong, and clients also have various requests. However, the volume never feels overwhelming, and when it does the team is there to help you out if you raise your hand. 8.) Work/Life Balance is great!! Like I said previously, just make sure your job is done and you have the flexibility to do whatever you need. Have a doctors appointment? Fine! Need to leave early? Sure! Don’t feel too good and need to wfh? No problem! Literally any time I have needed to handle something in my personal life, it has not been a problem to accommodate… but again, you just have to make sure all your daily work is done (which is fair!) I haven’t had to use PTO for any of my appointments or anything which makes it sooo much easier to accumulate those hours and save them up for actual time off to relax. Overall, it is a GREAT place to work! Best and easiest job I personally have ever had, and I’ve been in some highly toxic places. This is a breath of fresh air. Small, clean office nestled in Irondale with tons of great food around for lunch options. Management is empathetic and validating towards employees. Executives seem very involved with all aspects of the business. Morale is great. Teamwork is great. Feedback is encouraged and actually considered. Very low stress job. I keep looking for red flags and I just can’t find any.

Cons

Procedures can be hard to locate and follow. Pay is not super competitive, especially considering inflation. I wish AMs had 2 days in office instead of 3. The software we use for committing jobs is very slow. The office temperature is always on the warm side, sometimes I’m sweating even with my desk fan on.

Pros

The leadership at HC3 care about collaborating with their employees to improve the quality of the services they provide as well as maintaining a positive work atmosphere. They are a great group of people to work with and for.

Cons

The nature of this business requires that systems are running 24/7 so this can cause issues in work life balance for those maintaining those systems.

Pros

In the care coordinator role, I gained experience with multiple assessments, as well as Medicare, and ICD9 billing procedures while being a customer service agent .

Cons

Not a very specific training program. It is based on your own judgement.
