Pros

Good rate of pay - 15-17 euros per hour High quality lesson materials are provided so little lesson preparation is needed Interactive classroom system works really well Great homework system where homework is marked automatically Support staff are on hand and are always very helpful Lots of additional teacher training offered You can choose whatever hours you want to work

Cons

It's difficult to build up many hours so is good as a second job or if you want to work part time around 10 hours per week. Students can cancel lessons up to 6 hours before the lesson and you are then not paid for that lesson so you need to be flexible.

Great Job... IF You Don't Need to Work

Pros

Good materials and supplements, ability to upload your own supplements. Schedule fills quickly and is easily maintained. Teacher and IT support staff were excellent.

Cons

Very large number of unpaid cancels, no shows and holidays. Super-rigid payroll department with zero flexibility regardless of circumstances and the compassion of a rock. Payroll dispersed 2nd-3rd week of following month.
