      If you're not willing to commit to the hard work, learning and start-up phase you may want to find an easier profession

      Pros

      Every owner in the company started off as an entry level recruiter so career growth and income are unlimited if you are serious about being a professional search consultant. We work with some of the brightest and best employees from Fortune 100 companies. You will be challenged, trained and have business shared with you from the first day you arrive. Work life balance is exceptional. You can earn well over $100,000 and not work a lot of nights, weekends or travel. There have been numerous millionaires who have retired from MSI.

      Cons

      MSI has a performance driven culture so from time to time an hourly employee who is motivated by time off and holidays may feel disenchanted. This environment requires employees to be serious about growing at MSI from a professional and financial perspective. This is not a clock in, clock out type of company. High performance, high expectations and being motivated to be your best is what drives this company.

      Pros

      Well established ISO 9001/2008 organization that has been in business for close to 30 years, exceptional client base with multiple "Fortune 500" clients that provide strong stability for future growth. Collaborative, collegial work atmosphere where team work is encouraged. Training program is one of the best in the industry with practice group leaders that really know the industry and business challenges. Multiple offices scattered throughout New England with search capabilities both domestic and internationally and a commitment to continuous improvement makes this company one of the best in a very competitive industry.

      Cons

      We are affected by factors that we have no control over (economics, client hiring freezes etc.), we can do everything right but have the client not come through. Benefit costs are a bit expensive, but may be in line with a typical sized company and certainly a reflection on the health care industry vs. Management Search of Rhode Island.
