Pros
Pre-merger: great people, loyalty was rewarded. Work hard play hard. Post-merger: some big improvements in performance management process and internal systems such as the employee portal
Cons
Merger with Digitas took things in a direction I didn't like. Very high expectations of the 'VP' layer of staff in particular to dedicate themselves to their work, regardless of personal commitments. Very process heavy which is fine until it gets in the way of delivering work. Not much fluidity to move around the network, unless you were originally from one of the US offices, in which case - from my perspective - you got treated better.
