Wonderful position

Pros

This position was wonderful and I enjoyed my coworkers and management team. This position included serving guests dinner, working a breakfast buffet, and catering events such as bridal showers and weddings. An awesome job to build experience in the service industry.

Cons

Occasionally the restaurant staff would work late hours when working events and very early hours when working breakfast (never back to back, management was great at making sure no one was stuck working consecutive shifts).

Great entry-level position for anyone interested in hospitality, can get the behind the scenes on areas like events management, corporate travel, clientele from all over the world

Location. Smaller staff means more hours and money making opportunities.

Cons

Long hours as expected from a bar. Restaurant/bar always open on holidays. Only evening shifts available.
