Pros

- The PEOPLE. Native is full of talented individuals that care about the work and each other. - The culture. There are a lot of activities and events scheduled so we can have a little fun and not talk about work. There are also quite a few working parents, so people are respectful of work/life balance - and are just a great support system in general. - The opportunities. Native is set up perfectly for evolution and encourages growth and involvement from all employees. This leads to so many opportunities to make your own mark on the company. - The structure. Native has a pretty short org chart, so your voice can actually be heard since you're working closely with leadership.

Cons

As mentioned above, Native is always evolving, which makes the company a little scrappier than the larger agencies. This means things aren't always predictable and mechanical, which can obviously be a preferred situation for some. This isn't something that bothers me personally, as I like problem solving on the fly and being more involved in direction, but it is definitely something prospective candidates should be aware of.

Pros

Great culture. Everyone is very genuine and caring. It feels like everyone is on the same team trying to achieve the same goals. Projects are as collaborative as you allow them to be. The company is constantly testing new processes to make things better and better. They invite everyone to contribute new ideas to improve workflows and projects. Your ideas are taken seriously regardless of your title or seniority. Native strives for a healthy work-life balance, but heavy communication with your manager and the project management team is key to achieving this. There is a ton of opportunity given to each employee as long as you are willing to put in the hard work needed to capitalize on it. Doing good work and putting in effort are rewarded. The pace and expectations Native has for each employee are probably better suited for someone with at least few years of experience. The focus on good-cause companies gives an extra sense of meaning to the work when you get a chance to work with them.

Cons

Projects are not always the most creative, but there is usually an opportunity to push beyond an original request. Client relationships often focus on quick quarterly ROI and the fastest way to impress a client's main point of contact instead of thinking of long-term growth or foundational improvements. The company is still young and figuring things out. Things aren't perfect. So there are growing pains, but the benefit is that you get to be a part of perfecting processes and shaping what the company is.
