It’s a no, team. Spare yourself.
Pros
your colleagues are just about the only thing that’ll make it survivable, but the turnover rate is so high you really shouldn’t plan on them sticking around to keep you sane and grounded. giving this 2 stars instead of 1 solely bc the people who work there are great, which makes it even worse that the company is so bad to work for.
Cons
Weak leadership with a lack of emotional intelligence; excessively high turnover, including in management; layoffs with no warning that the financial situation was so dire; PeopleOps ability to attract talent outpaces leadership’s ability to retain it (don’t get sucked into the hype, it’s all smoke and mirrors); poor client management; hasty decision-making; toxic positivity; inequitable division of workload/share of responsibilities; CEO is a phony; could go on, but the best thing you can take away from this is \\ do not apply. // you can make more money somewhere else w/o having to go through the worst professional experience of your life. I chose to post this now instead of 2020 when I left bc the staff has unionized and there’s good reason for that. run the other way.
