Pros

Excellent students (both graduate and undergraduate), Bilingual culture, Montreal :One of the best student cities in the world. Particularly lean and not bureaucratic (For a university). Highest mean salaries in Quebec for university professors.

Cons

Highly unionized, little financial or personal incentive to improve for personnel. It is currently a challenge to obtain lab space as the university needs to grow physically to reflect the growth of the student body.
