      Left the company in 2016, but my heart is still there

      Pros

      The people are what made that such a great company to work for. From top to bottom, the executives, biz-dev, product managers, fleet services, and of course software engineering and content development were all great to work with. We were like a game studio that made games that moved you. It was so much fun.

      Cons

      We were also like a game studio in that we set high goals for ourselves, and when we overshot we all took the initiative to work overtime. Unfortunately that became too much of a habit for us and we seemed to do that ALOT! Also, given that the customer was very constrained in their requirements, we faced a lot of technical challenges that limited our ability to really do amazing things with our graphics. But we still did it!

      Pros

      The people who work at Raydon are first class and always welcoming. As an intern, my time was short lived, but that didn't stop Raydon from providing me with the resources and training required to make lasting contributions. Frequent meetings are held to keep all of the departments on track and on the same page. Scheduling and delegation is well managed to ensure that employees aren't overloaded and tasks are completed on time.

      Cons

      Engineering processes require a lot of documentation but this is meant to keep records thorough and accurate.
