Pros

In a role I want 3 things: 1.) I want a leader I am inspired by and learn a huge amount from. Tick, Jason is probably one of the most inspiring leaders and individuals to work with. 2.) I want an environment where I am challenged and encouraged to push the boundaries: Tick, Jason's desire for SaaStr to continuously improve and grow at incredible rates brings out the best in the individuals but also the team as a whole and creates for an incredible learning and work environment. 3.) I want a mission or North Star to fundamentally back and believe in. Tick, the mission with SaaStr is unwavering. It is what gets me up in the morning and keeps me working till the early hours. P.S. I think Jason is one of the most loyal and caring people to work for. When you are in the SaaStr family, it is a very special feeling.

Cons

The SaaStr Annual is an incredible event but it is also the largest of it's kind, that means it can be hectic and stressful at times before the event.

I have been working at SaaStr Inc for over a year now and I am impressed with the company culture, leadership and team collaboration. The company provides an open and supportive work environment where employees are encouraged to share their ideas and collaborate on projects. The leadership team is driven but approachable and always willing to listen to employee feedback, which helps create a positive work environment. The work-life balance at SaaStr Inc is also excellent although hectic around events as is necessary. Flexible working hours, remote work options and wellness perks ensure that employees can maintain a healthy balance between work and personal life. The company's mission to help organizations succeed in the SaaS industry is truly inspiring. The team is dedicated and passionate about the work they do and it is evident in the results they deliver. I have also had the opportunity to grow and develop professionally at SaaStr. The company provides training and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge. Overall, I recommend SaaStr. The company values its employees and is committed to creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Cons

The run up to the big events is always intense Lots of ownership not for everyone

Pros

SaaStr took a few months to reboot after Covid hit in March 2020 and lost $10,000,000 overnight. There were some tough times but the team came back and tripled its customer base and also did digital events to over 50,000 attendees. The team is now quite focused and strong.

Cons

The team needs to be about 50% bigger to get everything done. Overall the team is huge stronger than a year or two ago. But folks do own a lot now. Profit sharing is really nice for longer term employees as business has grown.
