Pros

Worked here as a contractor, but was pleased to rejoin as a FTE last year. I was drawn to the collaborative working style, the fast pace of delivery, and the opportunity to work with an extremely talented team who are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Working at Sequence is a high-trust environment. I value autonomy, so being trusted to ‘just get stuff done’ helps me produce my best work. If you prefer rigidity in practices and logging on and picking tickets off a pile, the company may not be a good fit!

The ability to work closely with such a senior and experienced team has been invaluable to a rapid growth in engineering ability. There are many opportunities for growth and taking on responsibilities, and great mentorship.

Cons

The intensity and quality bar is high - as expected of a high-growth startup with an exceptional, lean team. Energy and effort are required to keep up with, and excel in the fast-paced environment.

Having joined Sequence as a post-grad, I've had the privilege of working alongside an incredible team and received the support to reach my career goals at an accelerated rate. There's a great company culture that is driven by everyone being highly involved and valued in working for the company vision. We've also built an in-office team in London that all love to come in as much as possible (lots even 5 times a week).

Cons

Nothing comes to mind from my ~ 1 and 1/2 years at the company.
