- Small company so everyone gets to get involved with a bit of everything.
- Great people.
- Great product and lots of people invested in making the best possible games.
- Good office culture.
Cons
- Ad Ops doesn't have much involvement with the other departments.
- Not a massive amount of open communication for an office with so few people in it.
It's a fun job with amazing colleagues where I actually enjoy coming in to work every day. I especially love reading the daily AppBot email every morning as it's usually mostly five star reviews from our fans. Crunch is very, very rare and even then it's only been the odd night or two. Stick Sports is still a small company and doesn't have a huge management structure, giving a lot of autonomy. It's profitable and growing, hopefully much more this year with three major new titles. Most of us go out for a couple of drinks on Fridays which is paid for by the MD.
Cons
Sometimes we're a little too optimistic as to what can be achieved in a given timeframe and instead should be cutting unnecessary features, adding resources or changing deadlines.
It's a small company, so everyone gets involved with all aspects of the business.
A great team and culture, with regular encouragement and support from management.
Cons
As others have mentioned, product roadmaps were a little too optimistic in scope and timelines.
