Every day, our colleagues inspire us with their actions. The latest was our Malaysian team, who sprang into action when disastrous flooding displaced thousands across seven states. Our 2,300 teammates in Malaysia came together, taking rapid action to support local communities and colleagues who were affected. Everyone pulled together: the staff teams managed and gave donations, while the warehouse teams delivered supplies to where they were needed. We’re thankful for everyone on #TeamMolnlycke who came together and showed the true meaning of teamwork.
We care about extending access to quality healthcare and reducing patients’ suffering – which is why we’ve been supporting Operation Smile since 2004, striving to help young cleft lip and cleft palate patients. For this reason, last year we entered a three-year-long programme with the aim to build a model of cleft condition care in the Philippine city of Cebu. As the work on the cleft care centre progresses, we’ve finalised the product assortment and our training packages is ready to be transferred to the healthcare professionals in Cebu. Our colleagues at Mölnlycke organised a plethora of various fund-raising activities, making it possible for us to donate a total of EUR 170 000 to Operation Smile in 2021.
