While the companies on this list pay handsomely and a Glassdoor survey shows salary is among people’s top considerations before accepting a job, Glassdoor research also shows that salary is not among the leading factors tied to long-term employee satisfaction. In contrast, culture and values, career opportunities, and trust in senior leadership are the biggest drivers of long-term employee satisfaction. 1 Methodology: Report based on salaries shared by UK employees between 16/09/13 and 15/09/16. Only salaries linked to specific companies have been considered and companies must have received at least 25 salaries for a specific job title to be eligible. Report includes all salaries for jobs with “Director” only in the title.
