Artisan Bread Baker – night shift

Garage Bakehouse is a small family bakery included in the Good Food Guide 50 Best Bakeries 2025 & 2026, based in the heart of Market Harborough, a highly regarded and popular market town in Leicestershire.

Due to the ongoing growth of our business, we are looking for an experienced baker who loves the craft of baking and wants the opportunity to grow with us.

What we are looking for:

· A minimum of 2 years professional bakery experience

· Strong bread baking knowledge

· Confidence of working with sourdough and long-fermented doughs

· Good organisation and time management skills

· A positive and creative mindset

· Pride in producing exceptional products consistently

· Viennoiserie experience would be ideal but training given

What you’ll be doing:

· Producing artisan breads and bakery products overnight

· Producing high quality products consistently

· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

· Working Thursday – Monday 22:00 – 06:00

We are a small family run bakery made up of a retail bakery shop selling our bread, pastries, sandwiches and great coffee; a pizza shop selling sour dough pizzas and our bakery HQ, where we produce all the products for our retail shop and wholesale customers.

We make long-fermented sourdoughs, laminated pastries, seasonal specials and quality products for a loyal and ever-growing customer base, both retail and wholesale. We’re proud to have been recognised a one of the top 50 Bakeries in the UK.

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
