This is a Part-Time position required for 25.25 hours per week.

Grade 5 - £26,824.00 for 25.25 hours per week term time only for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to £18,305.57 pro rata rising to, £18,899.28 pro rata per annum after 5 years’ service.

In this role you will provide flexible, confidential support to children and young people aged up to 18 years where there are learning or physical disabilities, or a dysfunction within the family situation, to facilitate meaningful family contact.

You will work in partnership and direct work with families and foster placement support. In addition, you will support young people in promoting choice, their presence in the community, building social networks, their reputation and image, and in developing skills while enhancing their experience using available community resources.

As the ideal candidate, you will have a positive, proactive approach and possess excellent people skills. Experience in childcare and family work with an appropriate qualification would be favorable. Preferred Qualification NNEB/NVQ 3 Children & Young People.
