Sous Chef / Senior Chef de Partie

We’re looking for an ambitious Sous Chef to join our award-winning team at Roots Catering, based at Southend Barns in West Sussex.

We create fresh, seasonal food for luxury weddings and events, serving dishes that are packed with flavour, beautifully presented and made properly from scratch.

The Role

Working alongside our Head Chef, you’ll help lead the kitchen team in delivering exceptional food for weddings and events throughout the year.

You’ll be involved in:

• Preparing and cooking fresh seasonal menus
• Leading service at weddings and events
• Training and developing junior chefs
• Stock control and ordering
• Maintaining high food safety standards
• Contributing ideas for new dishes and menus

About You

You’ll be a strong chef with experience in fresh-food kitchens and a genuine passion for cooking.

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
