Taskmaster are proud to be partnering with a fantastic Scottish brand based in Cumbernauld who are entering an exciting period of major growth.

We are now recruiting two Technical Operators to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, with a clear development pathway into multi-skilled operator, team leading, and future management opportunities.

The hours of work for the Technical Operators on BEN shift or Conti Shift on a rotation between shifts – Please see below:

Ben's Shift

Day Shift: 5:45am – 2:00pm

Back Shift: 1:45pm – 10:00pm

Night Shift: 9:45pm – 6:00am

Conti's Shift

Day shift 6:45am – 7pm

Night shift 6:45pm – 7am

Please note, you must be able to work all three shift patterns aligned to the company's structure on the BEN / Conti shift pattern.

The Role:

You will be working across production and warehouse environments, supporting a highly organised shift-based operation. This is an entry level role with a defined pathway to progress into higher-skill roles, including:

• Multi-Skilled Machine Operator
• Technical Roles (training provided)
• Team Leadership & Supervision
• Long-term progression into Management

You will be encouraged to share ideas, raise improvements, and work within a business that values continuous improvement and open communication.

All three patterns operate within a Monday–Friday structure.

Pay & Allowances:

£12.71 per hour + £3.11 shift premium - £15.82 per hour total pay rate (Ben Shift)

£12.71 per hour + £4.55 shift premium - £17.26 per hour total pay rate (Conti Shift)

This is a competitive Scottish package including shift allowance for every shift worked.

We are looking for individuals with strong backgrounds in:

• Warehouse / Production / Fulfilment
• Machinery operation & equipment handling
• Basic fault-finding or maintenance exposure
• Engineering / technical mindset (advantageous)
• Strong work ethic & teamwork values
• Commitment to personal development
