Press Machine Operator

We’re looking for a Press Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. If you have experience working with press machinery, transfer presses, or a strong mechanical background and are keen to learn, this could be a great opportunity for you.

What we’re looking for

• Experience operating production machinery
• Experience with press machinery or transfer presses would be advantageous
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Someone reliable who takes pride in their work
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What you’ll be doing

• Operating transfer press machinery (Plattarg presses)
• Assisting with machine set-ups and loading materials
• Monitoring product quality and production output
• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
• Following health & safety and quality procedures
• Completing production paperwork accurately

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
• Flexibility to cover other shifts when required for holidays or long-term sickness absence

Pay Rates

• Training rate: £13.05 per hour
• £13.80 per hour once traine
