Accepted Offer – Interviewed in Jan 2010 – Reviewed Apr 15, 2012
Interview Details Had an on-campus interview. It was professional and very exciting. Seemed like a great opportunity. The person with whom I interviewed was also excited and personable. They presented a very positive description of the opportunity, and I was excited about the job. Unfortunately, they were not very specific about the job that I was going to have until after I accepted the opportunity. It appeared that they were assigned the duty of interviewing without really having the authority to complete the hiring process. Looking back, I now realize that they appeared to be satisfying a requirement that was assigned to them without really being empowered to place me in a position for future success. Knowing what I know now, I would have never accepted the position without a more definitive commitment from the company.
