      Cons

      They have quotas for yearly reviews, and you can put into the "need improvement" category regardless of how you actually performed, which will reduce your 3% standard raise, and cut your profit sharing bonus to 70%. They also only do lateral transfers in the company regardless of what department you transfer too. Example: being a grade 6 and applying for grade 7 pay Will not get you grade 7 pay, because they will label it as a lateral transfer. Also the company will perform stock buybacks instead of investing it in the workers compensation.

      Big bonus every year based on performance. Very interesting field and high specialized roles. GREAT immigration and policies and benefits.

      Cons

      With a very large company, have to play corporate politics at times to push for career growth and new opportunities. Less flexibility when it comes to disrupting established policies.

      - Upper management (mostly based in the Netherlands) has made questionable decisions recently - reducing focus on technology/innovation, which is ASML's core strength - Slow processes + red tape slow down engineering progress - Much of the Wilton site is currently under construction

      Nice work package with 40 days of holiday, profit sharing up to 20% yearly salary and easy access to health checks.

      Cons

      Career growth path is reduced to none if you're a foreigner and don't move to another sector every few years. I've been working for nearly 6 years in this company and regardless how hard I work, my salary and job grade remains the same.

      Best company to work in the Netherlands

      Cons

      Even though the salaries are well above dutch average with an excellent total package inlcued, there is no performance based bonus till a certain job grade (10+ years experience). Therefore a difference between a very good end of year review and a bad one is 2/3% salary increase. It's also impossible for management to promote internally people outside the restricted end-of-year salary increase table (big corp).
