Full of people who peaked in high school, and continue with that jock/cheerleader mentality.
Pros
No one is breathing down your neck. PTO was always approved. Good pay. No weekend hours. Patient showed more appreciation for the staff than the actual company.
Cons
3 days after being hired, seen in the breakroom: AT (married with a newborn) to PT while PT was just about to eat a banana, "Nah, don't stop. Stick the whole thing in your mouth. Let me see" Owner is a finance bro with zero healthcare experience. Company only employs young conventionally attractive people, rather than focusing on skill and work ethic. Headshots were required. Constantly bombardment of sexual innuendos and closeted racism under the guise of "jUsT jOkInG aRoUnD". Lower level employees actively bullying and micromanaging new staff without restraint or repercussions. Rampant unprofessionalism: yelling outside of patient suites, practicing football drills/cheerleading stunts down the main patient hallway, blasting inappropriate music all through out office so loudly that neighboring offices would complain, and above all, HIPAA violations. PHI was often left in high traffics areas, visible for all to see. Demographics being yelled across rooms. The breakroom refrigerator had open boxes of beer during office hours. PT providers often alienated anyone who wasn't on their team or wasn't fit/attractive. Front desk staff was extremely ingenuine with customers, and would often speak ill about patients once they leave the premises. Management seemed clueless of their duties and would often refer you elsewhere to seek answers. You were ostracized if you didn't kiss up or enable misogyny. Lastly, magats (both employed and patients) roamed freely, and would spew out hateful comments and misinformation without any apprehension from the "higher ups". Work routines were often interrupted because insta shorts and tiktoks were being recorded.
