Ineffective senior management & toxic corporate culture

      Anonymous employee
      Former employee
      Beverly Hills, CA
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

talented coworkers, free coffee, decent discount

      Cons

Alo is a brand with great potential, but its growth is undermined by senior managers and executives. The toxic corporate culture, fueled by ineffective leadership, is exacerbated by a pattern of blame-shifting rather than accountability. Don't be deceived by the emphasis on wellness and community during recruitment and onboarding - the facade quickly fades when sales performance starts to slip.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Pop-up lunches Cool office space with free coffee Free or discounted clothes

      Cons

Lack of leadership and lack of experienced people in leadership positions Bullying is very much tolerated and often rewarded Nepotism is very real Toxic environment, you will always see someone crying Lack of professionalism (even from HR), nothing you ever say will be confidential Low salary
