What is the hiring process like at Applebee's?

Difficult to find a replacement

From my perspective in Quincy, I had a great staff, I am not sure what it looks like now, but overall it was easy going, efficient, and a good experience.

The pay is decent, but it's a part time job after all.

- not well managed - make you do unnecessary busy work when slow

Managers are harsh on new starters

I got a lot of hours for the most part, but I was working 30-40 hours a week as a sophomore in high school.

My managers were incompetent and some didn't know how to do their jobs. My coworkers screamed at me for no reason other than they were older than me and thought they were my boss. They threatened to fire me once because they said the kitchen was too busy and it was my fault for not going on a waitlist, meanwhile, the foh was dead. They refused to pay me for time off I needed to take off because I got hurt in their kitchen, so I needed to get a lawyer. It was overall just a terrible experience, and I worked their for over a year.

They hired me which was nice for not having experience.
