Working here has been an incredibly positive experience. The company genuinely cares about its employees and takes proactive steps to support morale and address burnout. From wellness initiatives to flexible work arrangements, they truly prioritize a healthy work-life balance. Leadership is approachable and open to feedback, creating a culture of trust and collaboration. There’s also a strong emphasis on team-building and recognition, which makes you feel valued and appreciated. Overall, it’s a workplace where you’re supported not just professionally, but personally as well. Highly recommend!

      Toxic: Disappointing, Demoralising and Disingenuous

      Current employee

      Pros

Flexible Working (although there are rumours that we're only getting to work from home because we've been grandfathered in. Seems new hires don't get the same luxuries or opportunities) Autonomy (although when one does express concern, it's swept under the rug and ignored) New Office Location coming in the new year (looks nice but does explain why there's no money for head counts, promotions, raises or bonuses)

      Cons

There are members of Upper Senior Leadership, particularly those whose background was at NeoGames, who can only be described as bullies. They belittle and demean, set ridiculous targets and then demand to know why they weren't hit. When serious concerns are raised around employees mental health and wellbeing they're brushed off, and said employees are told to toughen up and just keep pushing. Bonuses haven't been paid out for over a year; they advertise that we get 10% quarterly bonuses but it's a myth at this point. Bonuses are tied to hitting the aforementioned impossible targets. There are no opportunities for career progression or advancement. Every request for a raise, promotion, training, anything is dragged out and postponed and delayed. They make up bad excuses for why things aren't moving, then make you feel bad for following up. This has been corroborated by many colleagues and peers across the departments. The culture and vibe is really off lately. Morale is down, and no one seems to care about picking people up. Everyone is depressed and struggling to cope with the pressures. New head count is promised over months but then nothing ever materialises. Meanwhile expectations continue to grow and we the people continue to get trodden into the ground when we don't hit the targets. Whilst we do currently have the opportunity to work remotely, it's looked down on and members of senior leadership have been heard saying that remote workers shouldn't get the same support or engagement as those making it into the office twice a week, despite the fact that only 20% or so actually do that. Aristocrat have released a new plan for the next five years, but produced nothing to go alongside to explain how we're supposed to achieve all this. Just more impossible targets and painful months ahead.

Nice office and flexibility but frequent layoffs and poor management

      Pros

Nice office and facilities in central London Mainly remote and flexible working

      Cons

Layoff happen often. Long hours unpaid Very challenging to have a work life balance as you can work long hours. Management are clueless on how to hire the right people for the business and gives technology teams a headache with unrealistic project deadlines and goals. Management are incapable to communicate with other areas of the business where the tech solution focuses on.

Lack of job security and leadership behaviors reflect a lack of empathy, with ego dominating in Systems Team.

      Pros

      1. Gratuity is out of the CTC 2. Work From Home is still an option 3. Good Medical Benefits

      Cons

      1. Job security is lacking, as hiring is frozen, and entire teams are subsequently laid off. 2. The systems department shows no growth, operating without a clear roadmap and direction. 3. Leadership in India lacks independent decision-making, often aligning as "Yes Men" for the US team. 4. Leaders prioritize securing their own bonuses while consistently cutting down the technical team. 5. Leadership behavior is dominated by ego, overshadowing collaborative and empathetic practices.
