What is the company culture like at Auburn University?

Variety of tasks including event planning, customer service, graphic design, and more. Office culture is great and the job is very flexible if you are a student

Not a ton of autonomy, which is good and bad. It's a lot of checking off tasks that are sometimes mundane, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Low pay (though it does depend on what department you are in).

Hard to balance with studies

The students are highly motivated and supportive of each other. The campus is lovely. The community around Auburn and its Alumni care deeply about the institution and its success. Parents and the families that support undergraduate students are highly engaged.

Complete lack of accountability across campus. Comparison and competition feed a culture of negativity, backstabbing, and gossip. I've never encountered professionals who actively and openly undermind their colleagues at every turn. Innovation and creative solutions for overall student success as stamped out due to a lack of willingness to try something new - specifically technology solutions.
