Pros

If you work hard as s store manager over time 5 years i went from 46500 to 58000 in five years.

Cons

They expect the world managers are the only ones that can do any task as well as the count sales, you put tons of hours cant ever able to hire good help takes three weeks to hire any one because the hiring process takes that long by then people your trying to hire finds other jobs then your starting over . In my 5 years i was never able to take a vacation worked 55 to 60 hours or more per week.

Advice to Management

Pay your part time and full time parts sales managers more, I bet they would work harder stay longer and not steal the parts because they can't afford the parts because they resent the fact they work on people's cars all day at minimum , and can't take care of there family's.

Let your stores run their business. Give them the ability operate their business. The numbers will show if they are doing their job or not doing their job. It's the stores job to make that business money, so let them do their job.
