Do you have the money saved to survive your first month?
Pros
I'm sure it would have been a good job if you are very good at sales, and have money saved ahead of time.
Cons
The problem here is simple: they do not advertise their positions honestly. They failed to mention in the job postings, as well as during the hiring process, that you have to have money ahead of time to succeed. They do not provide you with any safety equipment what so ever. They do not provide you with a ladder to get onto the roofs you are supposed to be inspecting. The training is about 4 days long, and they teach you about how the roofs can be damaged, what's covered by insurance, and how to fill out their paperwork. The pay during training is 7.25 an hour (which I never actually received). To get started on this job, you need to have money saved to survive long enough to make money, and to purchase everything you need to do the job well. This is a very competitive company, and I witnessed people be shamed who weren't selling enough just starting out.
