The pay is decent, nothing amazing but definitely not bad. The flexibility, obviously that depends on what pub you work at. And the benefits

Working hours can be a bit much sometimes. The very strict guidelines for everything. The workload can be a bit overbearing for how much you're paid. Late finishes, all the time.

Family feel Good pay and benefits

Long hours with short breaks. Not enough staff on to cater for busy periods.

Good pay, discounts, and training opportunities for upper management. The pubs are in lovely old buildings and the company preserves them well, keeping them classic and comforting.

Bad work-life balance, a standard contract is 48 hours a week which is just too much. Too much focus on saving hours and having less staff on when bad reviews are coming in explicitly stating we are understaffed. Focusing on small things that don't matter and ignoring massive issues such as morale and basic training.
